Uvay, born and raised in New Jersey, started with dancing and singing classes at the age of 5. At 9 he advanced to acting and performed at the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in “Oliver”, amongst other plays.
Uvay was involved in many showcases and talent shows over the years. At Iguana in NYC, Uvay performed in front of Sway at a showcase by Toddlewood Agency. He was a contestant in the Sean Garettʼs show, “The Next Teen Superstar”, and he also helped raised funds for people with Autism for the QSAC program with his singing performance. Being a singer is not just about being famous for Uvay, but itʼs also about helping his community and other teenagers reach their goals.
Uvay is currently in the process of releasing his first R&B album, featuring his single “Scarred”. Throughout his music career, Uvay worked with a variety of producers, including Chris N Teeb, Consequence, Andre Betts, and Den-Z.
